A message from our pastor, Trent Rankin

I became a christian at a very early age, and have been active in church all of my life. I felt God’s call into pastoral ministry, and have served in that capacity for some time. Although I was serving God, working within a traditional church setting, I began to feel God’s vision to take Jesus Christ to where the people are. The gospel is more than something inside the four walls of a church building. This vision became became a reality in 2016, as Salvation Church was planted in the west Gastonia area for the purpose of reaching the unreached for Jesus Christ. Jesus is more than Sunday, He is everyday, in all things. My passion, my vision from God, is for Salvation Church to reach people in need of Jesus Christ, where they are. To make disciples who want to make more disciples of Jesus Christ.
